Description of Services
Divvied provides a peer-to-peer money transfer service that allows users to:
- Load Funds: Add funds to their Divvied wallet using debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, CashApp, PayPal, and Venmo.
- Send Money: Transfer money to other Divvied users.
- Withdraw Funds: Withdraw funds received from other users to their debit cards, bank accounts, PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
Divvied does not support payments for the purchase of goods or services.
User Eligibility
To use Divvied, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account.
- Legal Capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- Geographic Restrictions: Our Services are currently available to users within the United States only.
If we discover that you do not meet these requirements, we may terminate your account immediately.
Account Registration and Security
To access our Services, you must register for a Divvied account.
Account Creation Requirements:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your full name, email address, and phone number.
- Complete identity verification (KYC) if prompted to do so.
Security Responsibilities:
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Notify Divvied immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in prohibited activities.
Fees and Charges
Certain actions on Divvied may incur fees. By using the Services, you agree to pay the applicable fees listed below.
- Instant Withdrawals: 0.5%–1.75% of the transfer amount, with a minimum fee of $0.25.
- Loading Fees: No fees are charged for loading funds into your Divvied wallet from linked payment methods.
- Other Fees: Any changes to fees will be communicated to you in advance, either via email or in-app notifications.
Fees are subject to change at Divvied's sole discretion.
Payment and Transactions
Loading Funds
- You can load funds into your Divvied wallet using debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, CashApp, PayPal, and Venmo.
- Once funds are loaded, they will be available for use within your wallet.
Sending Funds
- You may transfer funds from your Divvied wallet to other Divvied users.
- You are responsible for ensuring the recipient’s information is accurate, as incorrect payments cannot always be reversed.
Withdrawing Funds
- Users may withdraw funds from their Divvied wallet to debit cards, bank accounts, PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, Google Pay, or Apple Pay.
- Withdrawals are subject to applicable fees.
Reversals, Refunds, and Disputes
Reversal Requests
- Reversal requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction date.
- Requests can be made via the in-app "Payment Dispute" option or by contacting support@divvied.app.
- Reversal requests are only granted in cases of unauthorized payments, processing errors, or system malfunctions.
Dispute Resolution
- If you wish to dispute a transaction, you must provide supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots, emails, etc.).
- Divvied reserves the right to approve or deny a payment reversal.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the app for illegal purposes, including money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful conduct.
- Use automation, bots, or scripts to engage with Divvied.
- Use false or misleading information to impersonate others.
- Violate any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these rules.
Privacy and Data Collection
Data Collection
- Divvied collects personal information required for registration, identity verification (KYC), and to facilitate transfers.
- We may also collect data regarding app usage and device information to ensure the security of our platform.
Data Use
- Your information is used to provide services, verify user identities, detect fraudulent activity, and comply with legal requirements.
- We may share your data with third-party payment processors when required to process transfers, withdrawals, or payments.

- Loss of Funds: Errors resulting from incorrect payment details submitted by you.
- System Outages: Losses caused by temporary app downtime, maintenance, or technical issues.
- Third-Party Payment Delays: Delays caused by CashApp, PayPal, Venmo, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or other third-party payment providers.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support. Divvied reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if users:
- Violate the Terms and Conditions.
- Engage in fraudulent, unlawful, or prohibited activities.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
Dispute Resolution
- Users must attempt to resolve disputes through customer support before taking legal action.
- If necessary, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the United States.
Changes to the Terms
Divvied reserves the right to change, modify, or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to you via the app or email, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
